This week, I thought it would be useful to share one of the articles on our website.
After not seeing my brother for 3 years, last week he finally managed to make it to Melbourne (where I live), from Auckland. We are really enjoying catching up, however, planning different activities, travelling around Victoria and parts of Australia, and managing my workload have all contributed to a certain degree of stress.
In today's way of working, the delineation between work and life is less obvious, especially if you work from home, like I do. Moreover, as a business owner and freelancer, there are times where I feel I cannot just "switch off". There will always be a call or email or Slack/Teams message to respond to so the work can keep moving in the background.
As such, I have been thinking about the different kinds of stress I am currently experiencing. I'm reminding myself that some, initial stress can be positive, and trying to ensure that I do not work myself into more repeated and sustained stress, which can have some quite negative effects, as shown by the image we put together.

P.S. Going to places like this Redwood Forest in the Otways in Victoria, Australia also helped! (Please excuse my sub-par photography skills)
